CARE AID is a registered and independent
National Non-governmental organization, it operates by the principles of
non-discrimination, transparency, according to its core values and is guided by
the humanitarian principles in delivering aid to the affected population, while
paying special attention to the most vulnerable people.
The mission and Mandate of CARE
AID is to help people, families, and communities in areas most hit by crisis in
Nigeria and around the world. Providing solidarity to populations in life
threatening situations, in situations of famine and suffering resulting from
extreme poverty, natural disaster or the destructive effects of human actions.
Through its work, CARE AID also intends to lay the groundwork for steps towards
recovery and development. It will also promote the concept of global
responsibility by mobilizing society towards solidarity and impartiality,
basing its commitment on the fundamental rights of every human being.

the people in situation of violence, abuse, deliberate neglect, and natural
catastrophes: we seek to save lives and alleviate suffering in the populations
we assist through the provision of direct humanitarian aid.
